With deeper breaths, you change your body’s chemistry and gain control over your physiology. You are essentially in your subconscious mind - a space that most of us never realize we are able to access.  From this place, anything is possible. You can clear out limiting beliefs that prevent you from sustaining healthy relationships. You can settle your body into the present moment and overcome the addictions you’re using to escape it. You can even reprogram your brain into thinking more positive thoughts and craving healthier foods.

True change comes when we are able to address the root of our problems, and the root of our problems lives in the body. Talk therapy is a wonderful tool that helps us understand our lives, but for real transformation we have to sink deeper into the body. Your breath is the gateway.

When we consciously start to regulate our breathing pattern, we are able to then expand and shift our thinking patterns. This is a process of finding a whole new level of connection to yourself and self-partnering. The more you practice coming home to yourself through your breath, rather than dissociating and resorting to addictive behaviors, the more you will see it get easier and easier.
